When to Visit the Turkish Riviera: A Season-by-Season Guide

The Turkish Riviera — the Mediterranean coast around Antalya — enjoys one of the longest warm seasons in Europe. Choosing when to visit is largely a question of balancing weather, crowds and price.

Spring (April–June)

Warm, settled weather, blossoming landscapes and sea temperatures rising into the comfortable range. Late spring is widely considered the ideal window: reliable sunshine without peak-season intensity.

Summer (July–August)

The hottest and busiest period, with long, dry, very warm days. Ideal for a classic beach holiday, though demand and prices peak and midday heat is significant.

Autumn (September–October)

Often the connoisseur’s choice: the sea is at its warmest after a summer of heating, temperatures ease and crowds thin. Excellent value and comfortable conditions.

Winter (November–March)

Mild by European standards and well suited to sightseeing, walking and longer stays rather than beach days — one reason the region supports year-round living, not only holidays.

Matching season to trip

For a beach-focused all-inclusive stay, late spring and early autumn offer the best balance — see our guide to all-inclusive resorts in Kemer. For the full range of coastal stays, the resorts within the Londonos hospitality portfolio operate across the long Riviera season.
